Shinki-Hikaku oiled Cordovan leather is renowned for its distinctive gloss and transparency, which are the results of a detailed glazing process. The tannery's commitment to quality is evident in their exquisite hides and vibrant colors. The Shinki shell stands out from other tanneries by offering a more refined luster and a smoother, less waxy texture.
Hand saddle-stitched with linen thread from Fil au Chinois at 2.7mm spacing and complemented with a premium polished stainless-steel buckle. The strap's thickness ranges approximately from 2.8mm to 3.0mm.
Shinki-Hikaku, a tannery specializing in horse leather, was founded in 1951. Their craftsmanship has garnered recognition and awards over the years.
